Sea to Sky Real Estate Update


WHISTLER’s real estate market brought in a total dollar volume of $63 Million in June, a 13% increase from that of the previous month. There were a total of 51 transactions, of which there were 18 condo sales, 21 townhome sales and 7 chalet sales. Chalet sales carried the highest dollar volume for the month, a total of $23.6 Million. Reported numbers for the second quarter of 2018 show a total dollar volume of $176 Million and a total of 209 property sales.

Property sales in PEMBERTON brought in just over $4 Million in dollar volume this June, a relatively slow month when compared with the same time last year. There were a total of 7 property sales, the majority of which were townhome sales (with a dollar volume of $2.38 Million). Looking at the recorded sales for the second quarter of 2018, we can see there were 37 transactions (the same number reported as the first quarter) and a 21% increase in dollar volume totalling approximately $23 Million.

The SQUAMISH real estate market brought in a total dollar volume of $27 Million in June, which is 37% decrease from the same month last year. There were a total of 9 single-family home sales, 11 condo sales, and 25 townhome sales. Townhome sales carried the highest dollar volume for the month, a total of $15.5 Million. The numbers are in for the second quarter of 2018, with a reported 53% increase in dollar volume over the first quarter: approximately $135 Million in 195 transactions.
