A little more recent info about me.
I am still here specializing in the marketing of Whistlers' beautiful properties. That's my area of expertise.
I am proud to still be an award-winning REALTOR in this fabulous resort of ours after 22 years. Still with the same brokerage RE/MAX Sea to Sky Real Estate. And still loving listing and selling our beautiful Whistler homes.
Covid brought about many, many changes. Big ones came about in how we did real estate. Many buyers and sellers became comfortable with new technologies and amazingly, this did help us feel closer to each other (I'm talking about video conferencing; facebook messenger; and zoom). I thought a back-to-basics real estate focus was needed in such a complicated period and with it decreasing the layers between me and you.
I personally felt the need for closer communication, simplification, decluttering, fresh air, nature, reduction in stress, more time with family, a time to look for new ways to relax and a desire to focus on quality of life and feelings of health.
So I went back to my roots of my career which I began in 2001. A successful solopreneur. A REALTOR without a team. Even without an Assistant. A focus on what I love to do which is the marketing and selling of Whistler Homes. I am a listing specialist.
I have fine-tuned my focus since the beginning of covid by dissolving my team. Back to working work one-on-one with sellers of Whistler real estate and buyers that I already have established relationships with. I do what I truly love which is the marketing of homes for sale helping sellers obtain the maximum sale price, in the shortest time frame.
I dissolved LEADING EDGE REAL ESTATE TEAM and went back to me. Denise Brown, REALTOR.
At the same time I realized that I could not be everything to everybody as my business had increased dramatically over the past 22 years. I did not want to compromise on the exceptional level of service come to be expected, and I personally demanded. I love everything that goes into selling a home. The relationship with a home owner. The preparation for sale. The marketing plans. Especially the negotiation. And celebrating the closings. I just love it!
Now I haven't forgotten how important our buyers are. I have an incredible group of colleagues at the RE/MAX Sea to Sky Real Estate office and I handpick a colleague who is a perfect match for each buyer that calls in. They are given a warm Whistler welcome and the right property is found for them when they are ready to purchase. Those buyers that I already have established relationships with will forever be with me.
As we head towards another ski season 2022/2023, and historically the busiest time of the year as people purchase their winter cabins, know that I still offer FREE, no obligation market evaluations. It is a great time to put your property on the market as I mentioned above and before we start seeing negative changes that other markets in North America are already experiencing.
