Sea to Sky Real Estate Update
WHISTLER's real estate market saw a total dollar volume of $79.8 Million in March; a significant increase in sales from February. There were a total of 55 transactions: 21 of which were condo sales, 14 were townhome sales and 11 were chalet sales. Chalet sales contributed the largest dollar volume with a total of over $40 Million! Whistler's first quarter remains strong with a higher dollar volume than we saw in the final quarter of 2018.

Property sales in PEMBERTON brought in $4.2 Million in dollar volume in March 2019, with a total of 7 property sales. Of those, two were chalet sales totalling $2.2 Million, 1 was a $570,000 townhome sale, and 2 were condo sales totalling $1.2 Million. Overall a good first quarter of 2019 for Pemberton's real estate market.
The SQUAMISH real estate market in March brought in a total dollar volume of just under $29 Million. There were a total of 39 property transactions reported: 11 single-family home sales, a whopping 24 townhome sales, and only 2 condo sales. Consequently, Townhome sales made up the most of the total dollar volume last month: $14.3 Million. Squamish is doing well for the first quarter of 2019, making a bit of a rebound after the comparatively quiet last quarter of 2018.
